SMP YPUI Parung menyelenggarakan kegiatan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa (LDKS) bagi peserta didik kelas VIII sebagai bagian dari pembinaan karakter dan penguatan jiwa kepemimpinan di lingkungan sekolah.
Kegiatan LDKS ini bertujuan untuk melatih kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, serta kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Melalui berbagai materi dan aktivitas yang edukatif, siswa dibekali pemahaman tentang kepemimpinan, organisasi, dan nilai-nilai karakter positif yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat.
Selama kegiatan berlangsung, para siswa mengikuti rangkaian pelatihan yang dirancang untuk menumbuhkan sikap percaya diri, kepedulian sosial, serta semangat kebersamaan. Diharapkan melalui LDKS ini, siswa kelas VIII SMP YPUI Parung dapat berkembang menjadi pribadi yang berakhlak mulia, mandiri, dan siap menjadi generasi penerus yang berkarakter.
Kegiatan ini menjadi salah satu wujud komitmen SMP YPUI Parung dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung pengembangan potensi akademik maupun nonakademik siswa secara seimbang.
